<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter device capable of enhancing precision in measuring electrostatic capacitance of an electrolytic capacitor. <P>SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, there is provided an inverter device in which a control circuit outputs a direct-current power source, which is generated by rectifying an alternating-current power supply and causing a smooth capacitor to smooth the rectified power supply, by converting the direct-current power supply into an alternating-current power supply by controlling an inverter main circuit. When the control circuit detects a state in which a direct-current power-supply voltage drops during a period in which the alternating-current power supply is interrupted and charging charges of the smooth capacitor are discharged, the control circuit estimates electrostatic capacitance of the smooth capacitor based on the result of detection and an amount of power consumed during the period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
