<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low molecular compound having an effect of improving the efficiency of establishing an induced pluripotent stem cell (iPS cell) and a method for improving the efficiency of establishing the iPS cell using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This method of improving the efficiency of establishing the iPS cell includes a step of bringing, into contact with somatic cells, one or more compounds selected from a group composed of a compound expressed by formula (1) in the nuclear initialization process, and salts, solvates and prodrugs thereof which are allowed in view of pharmacology. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
