<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking system which allows appropriate correction of an answer when a question is answered with an electronic pen. <P>SOLUTION: The marking system includes an electronic pen, an answer sheet, and marking means. The electronic pen reads a coded pattern to generate entry information relating to handwriting strokes. Questions, answer columns for answers to the questions, and corrected answer columns are printed on the answer sheet, and the coded pattern is printed in a region including the answer columns and the corrected answer columns.
