<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device and a storage system capable of preventing enlargement of vibration of the storage device and resonance between the storage devices generated by various kinds of access of a disk drive. <P>SOLUTION: The storage device comprises: a housing; a plurality of disk drives arranged adjacently inside the housing for positioning a head at a target position to a rotated storage medium and executing write and read of data; a vibration detection sensor provided in the housing, for detecting the vibrations; and a disk controller for making a disk drive selected from the plurality of disk drives execute the operation of generating vibrations shorter than the cycle of the vibrations detected by the vibration detection sensor on the basis of the vibrations detected by the vibration detection sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
