<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily performing penetrant inspection, especially die penetrant inspection, without using a developer. <P>SOLUTION: A penetrant inspection method in which flaws such as cracks on a member surface are detected by applying a penetrant on the member surface comprises: a penetrant application step in which the penetrant is attached in an inspection target range of the member surface; a penetrant removal step in which excessive penetrant on the member surface is removed; a vibration applying step in which vibration is applied to the member including the inspection target range; an exuding step in which the penetrant is exuded on the member surface by the vibration applied by the vibration applying step; and an observation step in which an indication pattern constituted by penetrant exuded on the member surface by the exuding step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
