<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the inner surface of a rotor chamber from being damaged by a foreign matter contained in liquid. <P>SOLUTION: A centrifugal pump includes an impeller 2 with a magnetically driven unit 6 at the back of a rear shroud 15, a housing 3 for storing the impeller 2, and a magnetically driving unit 25 provided outside the housing 3 for performing the rotation driving of the magnetically driven unit 6 through magnetism. The housing 3 has an annular opposite surface 47 opposite to the rear surface of the outer circumferential portion of the rear shroud 15. A projection 48 is formed on the opposite surface 47 extending over the whole length in the circumferential direction. An annular reflux hole 49 extending over the whole length in the circumferential direction of the rear shroud 15 is formed at a portion opposite to the projection 48 or at a portion positioned outer circumferential side farther than the projection 48 in the rear shroud 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
