<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element which, even when a light-emitting layer is composed of plural layers, can suitably extract light in a wide wavelength range, and also can greatly reduce the view angle dependency of brightness and hue for light consisting of combination of plural colors. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting element includes, in an organic layer 13 sandwiched between a first electrode 11 and a second electrode 12, a first light-emitting layer 13a and a second light-emitting layer 13b which respectively emit light, in a single color or two or more colors in a visible light range, differing from each other. A first reflection interface 14 is formed on the first electrode 11 side, and a second reflection interface 15 is formed on the second electrode 12 side. An optical distance L11 between the first reflection interface 14 and the emission center of the first light-emitting layer 13a, an optical distance L21 between the first reflection interface 14 and the emission center of the second light-emitting layer 13b, an optical distance L12 between the emission center of the first light-emitting layer 13a and the second reflection interface 15, and an optical distance L22 between the emission center of the second light-emitting layer 13b and the second reflection interface 15 are respectively set to prescribed values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
