<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system capable of cleaning stains on conveyance rollers by a simple configuration, and producing a booklet which does not damage appearance quality without lowering convenience of a user. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming system includes: an image forming unit for forming images on a cover sheet or text sheets to be a sheet bundle; a sheet carrying unit constituted of at least one roller pair, for carrying the respective sheets on which the images are formed; an alignment unit for sequentially loading and aligning the sheets carried by the sheet carrying unit to be a sheet bundle and turning them to the sheet bundle; a cutting unit for cutting an unrequired part of the cover sheet; a forming unit for gathering and bookbinding the cover sheet cut in the cut unit and the sheet bundle; and a control unit for controlling the sheet carrying unit so as to clean the roller pair by utilizing the unrequired part in the middle of carrying the cover sheet by the sheet carrying unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
