<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an increase in the degree of freedom of three-dimensional display and a reduction in affection on a human body. <P>SOLUTION: A display system 1 comprises: a display apparatus 100 that performs three-dimensional display by displaying a right-eye image and a left-eye image; and a display auxiliary apparatus 200 that causes the displayed right-eye and left-eye images to be separately visually recognized. The display auxiliary apparatus 200 detects a mounting state, an inclination, and the like with respect to a viewer, and transmits state information representing the detected result to the display apparatus 100. The display apparatus 100 determines whether or not the posture of the viewer is in a normal visual recognition range on the basis of the state information transmitted from the display auxiliary apparatus 200. If the posture of the viewer is in the normal visual recognition range, the display apparatus 100 enables recognition of three-dimensional display by the viewer even if the viewer is not horizontal in posture by controlling the display direction of the images in accordance with the direction of inclination. If the posture of the viewer is out of the normal visual recognition range, the display apparatus 100 reduces affection on the human body by displaying a screen for instructing the viewer to have a correct posture, or the like, or weakening affection on three-dimensional display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
