<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container terminal with quay cranes handling at a time containers on a ship set adjacent to a traveling direction of the quay crane and to provide a method of controlling the same. <P>SOLUTION: It is configured that mutually almost parallel track 11 and track 21 are installed, the adjacent quay crane 10 travels on the track 11 and the quay crane 20 travels on the track 21 such that leg parts 13, 23 or traveling devices 12, 22 of the respective quay crane 10 and quay crane 20 at least partially overlap as viewed from rear faces of the quay cranes 10, 20 in a traverse direction X thereof, the adjacent quay crane 10 and the quay crane 20 are arranged to handle container trains k1 and k2 on the ship 2 adjacent to a traveling direction Y of the quay cranes 10, 20, and a quay delivery region 40 where the quay cranes 10, 20 deliver the container k relative to a transfer mover 31 is installed between the ship 2 and the ship-side track 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
