<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further properly perform initial filling of ink into an ejection head. <P>SOLUTION: When an initial filling process of first filling ink in a print head from an ink tank designed by assuming that the ink is injected by a user is not completed (S100), identification information of the ink is input based on operation of an operation panel by a user (S130), and a suction pump of a capping device and the like are controlled so that the initial filling process is performed when the input identification information of the ink is authenticated (S200). Thereby the first filling of the ink into the print head without being filled with ink based on the operation of the user can be performed.
