<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a square insulated electric wire capable of providing a good PDIV while reducing an actual applied amount of covering material for an insulating cover layer. <P>SOLUTION: A square insulated electric wire 10 contains a square conductor 13 whose cross section is square, and an insulating cover layer 16 which covers the outer periphery of the square conductor 13 using an insulating body. The insulating cover layer 16 includes a flat part 15 and a corner part 14 which connects the flat parts 15 and 15 together. A layer thickness d at the thinnest portion of the corner part 14 is formed thinner than a layer thickness t<SB POS="POST">f</SB>of the flat part 15. In a cross section view under such condition as the square insulated electric wires 10 are arrayed side by side so that the flat parts 15 and 15 are matched together, a gap length g is 10 μm or less which is a distance between the insulating cover layers 16 at an intersection a where a straight line L<SB POS="POST">1</SB>running a plane formed at the matching, crosses at 45° with a tangent line L<SB POS="POST">2</SB>contacting to at least a partial surface of the corner part 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
