<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dry a belt of a washed belt conveyor device without staining or wetting its surroundings. <P>SOLUTION: Air jet parts 303 are positioned on upper and lower sides of the almost horizontally extending belt 103 and air for drying is sent to upper and lower surfaces of the belt 103 to blow off water on the belt 103. A suction part 304 is positioned in the vicinity of a side part of the belt 103. Air guide parts 305 are positioned on the upper and lower sides of the belt 103.
