<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have information on whether a colorimetry device has passed the inside of calibration patches reflected in the processing of colorimetry values obtained by measuring the colors of the calibration patches. <P>SOLUTION: Color measurement is performed by sliding a colorimetry device over a color chart having printed thereon calibration patches 51<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, 51<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, 51<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, 51<SB POS="POST">4</SB>, 51<SB POS="POST">5</SB>, 51<SB POS="POST">6</SB>, etc. and reference patches 52<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, 52<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, 52<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, 52<SB POS="POST">4</SB>, 52<SB POS="POST">5</SB>, 52<SB POS="POST">6</SB>, 52<SB POS="POST">7</SB>, etc. arranged in front and behind the respective calibration patches and whose width is equal to or less than that of the calibration patches minus a length twice the aperture size of the colorimetry device. Then, the colorimetry device determines, on the basis of a colorimetry value of reference patches in front and behind some calibration patch and a colorimetry value of their undercoat, whether it has passed the inside of that calibration patch, in which way it processes colorimetry values of the calibration patches according to the result of the determination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
