<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly elevate a temperature of oil by using heat of an exhaust port during a cold time of an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: In this oil storage device of the internal combustion engine, a cylinder head of the internal combustion engine includes the exhaust port, the exhaust port includes an exhaust valve, and a camshaft for opening/closing the exhaust valve is arranged on an upper side of the exhaust port in a cam chamber of the cylinder head. The exhaust port includes an exposed part having the upper wall exposed in the cam chamber. In the cam chamber, an oil storage part surrounded by a bulkhead extended from a bottom face of the cam chamber toward the camshaft and an outer wall of the cylinder head is provided. The oil storage part is arranged in an upper part of the exposed part. In a lower part of the bulkhead, a discharge port for discharging oil in the oil storage part which receives heat from the exposed part and is elevated in temperature to the inside of the cam chamber is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
