<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire trimming method for deeply and uniformly cutting spew without damaging a tire surface, and a tire trimming device. <P>SOLUTION: When cutting spew P with a cutter 12 and removing it while rotating a vulcanized tire 20, a pair of tension rollers 11a and 11b arranged at an interval d from each other are disposed, the cutter 12 is arranged on a tire surface side at the almost center of the pair of tension rollers 11a and 11b, and the spew P held in a roughly upright state by the pair of tension rollers 11a and 11b is cut with the cutter 12. Also, guide rollers 14A and 14B are arranged before and after the cutter 12 so that the outer peripheral surfaces thereof are brought into contact with the surface of the tire 20 respectively, and the cutter 12 is kept at a roughly fixed height from the surface of the tire 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
