<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parameter automatically adjusting device of a screw fastening robot automatically setting a parameter of high accuracy with reduced frequencies of operation tests regardless of the degree of skill without necessitating a means for detecting a fastening torque on actual operation on lines. <P>SOLUTION: Upon [accuracy priority mode-simplicity], speed candidates are preset as three fixed values. A parameter estimation part 58 selects four levels from nine levels set corresponding to three speed candidates to execute operation tests of a screw fastening robot 10. Thereby the frequencies of operation tests required for converging the parameter, that is, the number of consumed test pieces is made to be tens of pieces near to that of an expert. When five operation tests are executed about four levels like the embodiment, parameter is made to converge by operation tests of sum total 20 frequencies.
