<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy assembly and thus suppress manufacturing cost, in manufacturing of a heat exchanger. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of first and second plates 801, 802 which have recessed faces 95 are superposed on each other. Superposed peripheral edge parts 84 are joined by seaming, so as to form a flat pipe 20.
