<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railroad crossing risk recognition system capable of completely preventing occurrence of a driver's accidental mistake by making a vehicle attempting to cross a railroad crossing positively recognize a risky state where a train is approaching the crossing. <P>SOLUTION: The railroad crossing risk recognition system includes a risk notifying unit 1 that is on a road in front of a railroad crossing F and notifies a vehicle R passing over a surface of the road of a risky state.
