<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal pump in which an inner surface of a housing is prevented from being scratched due to foreign matter such as iron powder contained in fluid. <P>SOLUTION: The centrifugal pump includes: an impeller 2 provided in the rear of its rear shroud 15 with a magnetic follower part 6; a housing 3 storing the impeller 2; and a magnetic actuator part 25 which is disposed in the housing 3 so as to surround the magnetic follower part 6 and drives the rotation of the magnetic follower part 6 with magnetism. The housing 3 has a rotor chamber 7 made of synthetic resin for storing the magnetic follower part 6 of the impeller 2, and a nonmagnetic metal plate 48 which is harder than iron is disposed on the inner surface of the rotor chamber 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
