PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise generated when a reconstructed image is generated from a light field image captured by a plenoptic camera.

SOLUTION: A light field image acquisition part 71 acquires data of a light field image comprising an aggregate of a plurality of sub images generated by each of a plurality of microlenses obtained as a result of capturing image by an imaging apparatus. An interpolated light field image generation part 75 generates one or more pieces of data of interpolated light field images comprising the aggregate of a plurality of virtual sub images. A reconstructed image generation part 76 generates data of a reconstructed image using the data of the light field image and the data of one or more interpolated light field images.
