摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time taken for a changeover of X-ray beam properties, in a dual energy type X-ray computed tomography apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: This X-ray computed tomography apparatus exposing X-rays having different radiation quality to a subject to specify physical properties of a target region inside the subject includes: an X-ray tube generating the X-rays; a changeover part changing over a drive state of the X-ray tube between a first state corresponding to a first tube voltage and a first tube current, and a second state corresponding to a second tube voltage smaller than the first tube voltage and a second tube current to change the radiation quality of the X-rays; a detector detecting the X-rays after transmitted through the subject; an image generation part generating a first image corresponding to the first state and a second image corresponding to the second state based on output of the detector; and a control part adjusting image properties of the second image based on image properties of the first image to minimize a difference between the first tube current and the second tube current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
