<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode active material comprising an olivine-type lithium transition metal oxide and having favorable charge/discharge characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: An olivine-type lithium transition metal oxide according to the present invention has a composition represented as Li<SB POS="POST">x</SB>(Mn<SB POS="POST">1-y</SB>M1<SB POS="POST">y</SB>)<SB POS="POST">1-z</SB>M2<SB POS="POST">z</SB>PO<SB POS="POST">4</SB>(in the formula, x, y and z satisfy the relations of 0.9<x<1.3, 0≤y<1 and 0<z<0.3, M1 represents at least one metal element selected from the group consisting of Fe, Co and Ni, and M2 represents at least one metal element selected from the group consisting of Zn, Mo and Al). In the olivine-type lithium transition metal oxide, an additive amount of the metal element M2 is, by element ratio, 0.1 mol% or more and 10 mol% or less relative to Mn (manganese) and M1 in the composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
