PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage system for storing the hot and cold water of a required temperature while suppressing a radiation loss.

SOLUTION: The hot water storage system S includes: a heat source apparatus 1 generating heat; a hot water storage apparatus 2 storing hot and cold water and supplying the hot and cold water to a heat consumption apparatus; a hot and cold water circulating passage 8 circulating hot and cold water between the heat source apparatus 1 and the hot water storage apparatus 2; a flow state regulator P regulating the flow state of hot and cold water in the hot and cold water circulating passage 8; an information collecting device 5 collecting information on the temperature of hot and cold water whose supply is requested by the heat consumption apparatus 4; and a control device 6. The control device 6 controls the operation of the flow state regulator P so that hot and cold water is stored in the hot water storage apparatus 2 at a target hot water storage temperature determined according to the temperature of hot and cold water whose supply is requested by the heat consumption apparatus 4 collected by the information collecting device 5.
