<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method for a radioactive waste liquid containing phosphate ester that can efficiently decompose a radioactive waste liquid containing phosphate ester under a temperate condition. <P>SOLUTION: The processing method for the radioactive waste liquid containing the phosphate ester includes an oxidation decomposition processing process of adding copper powder, copper salt capable of producing copper ions, or a copper ion-containing solution containing copper ions produced from copper salt, and hydrogen peroxide to the radioactive waste liquid, and oxidizing and decomposing phosphate ester in the presence of copper ions produced from the copper powder and the copper ions produced from the copper salt, and is characterized in adding the copper powder and the copper salt or copper ion-containing solution to the radioactive waste liquid in the oxidation decomposition processing process so that 0.001-1 mol of the copper powder is added for 1 mol of the phosphate ester and 20-60 mol% of the copper powder and 80-40 mol% of the copper salt are added for 100 mol% of the copper powder and copper salt in total. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
