摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calibration system and a calibration method for a hydraulic shovel capable of improving accuracy in positional detection of a working point and reducing calibration operation time. <P>SOLUTION: A current position calculation section of a hydraulic shovel calculates a current position of a working point included in a work tool based on a plurality of parameters indicating dimensions and swing angles of a boom, an arm and the work tool. A calibration device is a device for calibrating the parameters. A vehicle body coordination calculation section 65a of the calibration device calculates coordinate conversion information based on first working point position information as well as second working point position information measured by an external measuring device. A coordination conversion section 65b converts coordinates of the working point at a plurality of positions measured by the external measuring device from a coordinate system of the external measuring device to a vehicle body coordinate system of the hydraulic shovel using the coordinate conversion information.
