<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flat type screen printing apparatus capable of positioning an article to be printed which is not influenced by an end face finishing of the front edge end part of the article, and to provide a method for printing using this. <P>SOLUTION: The flat type screen printing apparatus has a printing table and printing plates for performing a multicolor printing of two or more colors on the article to be printed. The flat type screen printing apparatus includes, on the upstream side of the printing table: a vacuum means driven by a plurality of shafts of actuators for positioning the article and for sucking at least a part of the undersurface of the article; and an image sensor for detecting the position of the article. An alignment mark is printed on the first color printing on the article, and each printing after second color is performed by a procedure where the image sensor matches a registered mark registered using a printing plate position as a reference on each printing plate after the second color with the alignment mark printed on the article at the first color printing to carry out positioning of the article. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
