<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required for static timing analysis. <P>SOLUTION: A static timing analysis device includes a time function generation part 12, a slack function generation part 13, a power supply domain voltage constant determination part 14, a slack value calculation part 15, and an output part 16. The time function generation part 12 generates a time function indicating the time of signal arrival at a cell, which is a function of a power supply voltage, on the basis of a net list, delay time information of the cell, timing constraint information, and power supply domain information indicating correspondence of a power supply domain and its power supply voltage range. The slack function generation part 13 generates a slack function which is the function of the power supply voltage indicating a margin of the time of the signal arrival at the cell, on the basis of the timing constraint information and the time function. The power supply domain voltage constant determination part 14 determines a power supply voltage constant for minimizing the slack function between a lower limit power supply voltage and an upper limit power supply voltage of the power supply voltage, and the slack value calculation part 15 substitutes the power supply domain voltage constant to the slack function and calculates the slack value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
