<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highlight a particular image in a document like a document of full-color printing while avoiding the cost of full-color printing caused due to usage of a stamp function even when a two-color printing function is selected to carry out a printing/copying process of the document inexpensively. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus has a two-color printing function for printing a document image in two colors and a stamp function for printing with addition of a particular image to the document image. The apparatus has an image forming unit, which carries out a printing process of the document image and the particular image with color materials selected for two-color printing, and a control unit, which carries out an interrupting process of highlighting the particular image in the document image by setting a stamp color and adding that to print information so that the particular image is printed with a color different from that of the document image before the printing process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
