PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support apparatus capable of instructing a driver how to operate a steering wheel in a concrete manner, using localization of sound images.

SOLUTION: The driving support apparatus includes: a target movement position setting section 10 for setting a target movement position of a vehicle; a steering wheel rotational angle acquisition section 11b for acquiring a present steering wheel rotational angle of a vehicle steering wheel 4; an estimated-movement position calculation section 13 for calculating an estimated vehicle movement position based on the steering wheel rotational angle; a steering wheel correction amount calculation section 14 for calculating a correction amount of the present steering wheel rotational angle based on a difference between the target movement position and the movement position of estimation; a sound image localization position setting section 15 that sets a sound image localization position so that a sound image localization position moves along a shape of a steering wheel 4 based on the correction amount of the steering wheel rotational angle; and a driving support audio signal creation section 16 that creates a driving support audio signal for moving a sound image localization position along the shape of the steering wheel 4 based on the control.
