<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for forming a suture thread with a loop for increasing the strength of the suture thread and making the suture thread more resistant to shear stress breakage by reinforcing overlapping sections. <P>SOLUTION: The suture thread 10 includes a long and thin body 11 with a distal tip having the first and second overlapping sections 13 and 14 forming the loop 12 and filler material located at least in a part of a joint line specified between the first and second overlapping sections 13 and 14 of the long and thin body 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
