<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean deposits within a fuel injection valve. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve includes: a nozzle body to the tip of which an injection hole is provided; a spiral groove giving a swing component to fuel flowing inside the nozzle body toward the injection hole; and a cavitation generation chamber which generates a fuel cavitation for cleaning the spiral groove. The cavitation generation room is disposed at such a position so as to be confronted with the spiral groove. By changing a confronting state between the cavitation room and the spiral groove, the amount of fuel cavitations to be generated can be changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
