摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically perform the closing operation of an on-off valve by detecting the heat storage completion of a chemical heat pump according to the seasonally changing amount of heat storage without using electric power. <P>SOLUTION: This solar heat storage system includes a solar heat storage apparatus constituted in an airtight state comprising a reactor 1 storing a chemical heat storage material 5 for storing solar heat, a condenser 2 liquefying and storing a gas component released from the chemical heat storage material 5, a connecting pipe 3 connecting the reactor 1 to the condenser 2 and conducting the gas component, and the on-off valve 4 for opening and closing the conduction of the connecting pipe. The solar heat storage system also includes a support means 7 for supporting the solar heat storage apparatus by predetermined holding strength, and a closing means 9 closing the on-off valve 4 by a change in the inclination of the solar heat collecting apparatus when stress applied to the support means 7 exceeds predetermined holding strength due to the center of gravity of the solar heat collecting apparatus moving into a position close to the condenser 2 in accordance with the progress of heat storage.
