<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming a processing layer that can form the processing layer with a uniform density distribution, and an optical article. <P>SOLUTION: A method of forming a hard coat layer includes: a coating process of using an ultrasonic nozzle in which composition liquids forming a processing liquid body are introduced, a nozzle hole provided to the ultrasonic nozzle to jet the composition liquids, and a spray coating device which atomize the composition liquids introduced in the ultrasonic nozzle by outputting an ultrasonic wave, and dropping the composition liquids sequentially on a surface of a lens base material by a spray coat system which atomizes the composition liquids with the ultrasonic wave output from an ultrasonic vibrator to spray the atomized composition liquids from the nozzle hole; and a processing layer forming process of forming the processing layer by baking the composition liquids dropped on the surface of the base material after the coating process. The coating process includes a primary leveling process of leveling layer thicknesses of the dropped composition liquids over the surface of the base material at least after the primary coating process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
