DECORATION SHEET FOR WATER TRANSFER PRINTING, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF, WATER TRANSFER PRINTING METHOD USING DECORATION SHEET, AND PRODUCT DECORATED BY WATER TRANSFER PRINTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a printing layer of a stereoscopic pattern in which a metal powder pigment included in ink or coating material is magnetically oriented for exhibiting stereoscopic effect in a transfer film, from being damaged by an activator.

SOLUTION: The decoration sheet for water transfer printing 10 includes: a water-soluble film 12; a printing layer or coating layer 14 with the ink or coating material which includes the metal powder pigment oriented by a magnet; and an activator barrier layer 18. The manufacturing method of the decoration sheet for water transfer printing includes: preparing the printing layer or coating layer by using the ink or coating material which includes the metal powder pigment on the water-soluble film; arranging the magnet under the water-soluble film and orienting the metal powder pigment according to the arrangement of the magnet; and thereafter preparing the activator barrier layer on the printing layer or coating layer. Furthermore, the water transfer printing method includes: floating the decoration sheet on a water surface with the water-soluble film downward; applying the activator onto the activator barrier layer; and pressing a body to be transferred with the stereoscopic pattern onto the activator barrier layer and sinking the body to be transferred with the stereoscopic pattern in the water.
