<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a chance to easily view information by opposing a display surface of a notification device, which displays information on the display surface, to persons around the notification device, and to transmits details of the information at the chance even by a method other than display. <P>SOLUTION: A notification part 10 includes an electrostatic speaker 12 and a display part 12. The display part 13 displays an image showing some information with characters, pictures, photographs, etc., and the image functions to advertise articles and services. Sound output from the electrostatic speaker 12 has directivity perpendicular to a display surface of the display part 13. When the electrostatic speaker 12 outputs sound associated with the image displayed on the display part 13, for example, explaining details of the articles etc., to be advertised, the sound passes through the display part 13 to be recognized by a person who views the display part 13.
