<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper device provided with a clutch mechanism capable of miniaturizing and reducing the weight of a wiper motor and improving the assembly workability of the wiper device. <P>SOLUTION: A clutch mechanism 52 is provided to a mounting part between an axial leading end side end part of an output shaft 42 and one end part of a crank arm 45 movably and relatively rotatably mounted to the axial leading end side end part of the output shaft 42. The clutch mechanism 52 includes an engagement groove 53 formed in the one end part of the crank arm 45, an engagement projection 54 provided in the axial leading end side end part of the output shaft 42 and a coil spring 55 for providing the crank arm 45 with an elastic force in a direction in which the engagement groove 53 and the engagement projection 54 are engaged with each other. When the crank arm 45 resists the elastic force to move to a position in which the engagement groove 53 and the engagement projection 54 are disengaged from each other, power transmission is broken between the output shaft 42 and the crank arm 45. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
