<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply apparatus having high versatility and high detecting accuracy of residual fuel amount. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel supply apparatus 1 supplying fuel in a fuel tank 2 to the outside of the fuel tank 2 includes: a cylindrical sub-tank 20 disposed in the fuel tank 2, and forming a plurality of mounting portions 26 in a circumferential direction; and a residual amount detector 60 which is disposed outside the sub-tank 20 in the fuel tank 2 by mounting the fitting portion 66 of a ring cover 64 on at least one mounting portion 26, and which detects the residual amount of the fuel in the fuel tank 2.
