<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device using a metal roller (toner recovery roller) that includes a backflow prevention mechanism for preventing leak out or a backflow of toner or paper powder scraped off from the metal roller by a blade, and always has stable cleaning performance, as well as an image forming apparatus using the cleaning device. <P>SOLUTION: A cleaning device 30 comprises: a fur brush 2 that removes toner remained on an image carrier; a recovery roller 6 that removes toner on the fur brush 2; a first sheet 4 that contacts the recovery roller 6; and a blade 1 that removes toner from the recovery roller. The coefficient of static friction of the surface of the first sheet 4 that contacts the recovery roller is smaller than the coefficient of static friction of the surface of the recovery roller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
