<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector for detecting a thunder stroke on a power line under a power failure, which detects an occurrence of a thunder stroke on a power line under a power failure. <P>SOLUTION: A detector 10 for detecting a thunder stroke on a power line under a power failure comprises: a detection part 11 for detecting a power failure of power lines, the detection part 11 detecting whether a first power line 1 L is under a power failure based on state signals S<SB POS="POST">CB1</SB>, S<SB POS="POST">CB3</SB>of a first and third circuit breaker from a first and third circuit breaker 21<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, 21<SB POS="POST">3</SB>disposed at the both ends of the first power line 1 L; and a thunder stroke detection part 12 for monitoring a level of a first and third output signals for determining power being on state S<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, S<SB POS="POST">3</SB>from a first and third power line on/off state determination device 22<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, 22<SB POS="POST">3</SB>when the first power line 1 L is detected as under a power failure, then determining that the first power line 1 L is thunderstruck if the level of the first and third output signals for determining power being on state S<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, S<SB POS="POST">3</SB>changes from a low level, which indicates that the power line voltage of the first power line 1 L is smaller than a setting value of the first and third power line on/off state determination device 22<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, 22<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, to a high level, which indicates that the power line voltage is more than the setting value, for only a certain period of time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
