<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive dilution device with simple structure and high durability, capable of preparing for each disinfection operation a chlorine dioxide diluted solution which is unstable and naturally quickly degradable. <P>SOLUTION: A PVC-made cylindrical sealed dilution tank includes a chlorine dioxide stock solution suction port and a water supply port which are provided at the bottom, and a water suction port and a diluted solution outlet which are provided at an upper portion of the tank. A tube connected to the diluted solution outlet at the upper portion of the dilution tank is connected to an instrument disinfection tank through a PVC-made check valve 2. A pump 3 is operated simultaneously with the opening of a highly acid-resistant solenoid valve 5 to suck and carry a designated amount of water from the dilution tank to the outlet of the PVC-made check valve, and by the negative pressure resulted therefrom, a designated amount of the liquid in the chlorine dioxide stock solution tank 6 is sucked into the dilution tank. When the operation of the highly acid-resistant solenoid valve and the pump is stopped, a water supply solenoid valve 7 is opened to inject a designated amount of water to the dilution tank, and the chlorine dioxide stock solution is supplied via the PVC-made check valve to the instrument disinfection tank while diluting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
