<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope capable of efficiently radiating heat emitted from an LED by a constitution composed of a small number of components. <P>SOLUTION: The endoscope includes: an insertion part 2; an operating part 3 connected to the proximal end of the insertion part; and a circuit board 32 which is disposed inside the operating part and in which the LED is mounted. The endoscope has such a constitution that the light emitted from the LED is guided to the distal end of the insertion part by using an optical fiber bundle to be used as illumination light. The endoscope further includes a first heat radiation part 51 in contact with the mounted surface of the circuit board and a second heat radiation part 52 in contact with the opposite surface from the mounted surface of the circuit board. The first heat radiation part is joined to the second heat radiation part with the circuit board held in-between. The first and second heat radiation parts joined to each other are support members joining a structure on the distal end side of the operating part to a structure on the proximal end side of the operating part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
