<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pearly glossy inkjet recording material which has characteristic pearly glossiness without especially using pearly glossy pigment, exhibits coating layer strength, especially very excellent strength which prevents powder falling or the like in cutting, and includes a pearly gloss developing layer with excellent ink absorbability and color development property. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording material includes at least one layer of the gloss developing layer applied on an air-permeable support body. The gloss developing layer is formed of a coating composition containing at least inorganic ultrafine particles, polyvinyl alcohol, synthetic resin emulsion. An average primary particle size of the inorganic ultrafine particle is 15 nm or less. An average agglomerated particle size is 300 nm or less.
