<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device which can suppress deterioration of a conductive member due to sulfur-containing gas by means different from a conventional protection film. <P>SOLUTION: A light emitting device (100) includes a conductive member (10), a light emitting element (20) connected to the conductive member, and a sealing member (30) for sealing a part of the conductive member and the light emitting element. The sealing member (30) contains, in its base material, a first particle (41) and a second particle (42) which is attached to the first particle, and is a material different from the first particle. The second particle (42) contains oxide, hydroxide or carbonate of at least one kind of element selected from potassium, calcium, sodium, magnesium, manganese, zinc, iron, copper, nickel, silver, zirconium, cobalt, chromium, lead and barium, or these compounds. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
