<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous cutting agent capable of sufficiently suppressing generation of chipping and cracks in cutting and excellent in washing properties after processing, and a method for cutting a solid material using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The aqueous cutting agent includes: a nonionic surfactant expressed by a general equation (1): R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>O(R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>O)<SB POS="POST">x</SB>H [in the general equation (1), R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>is a 6C-22C alkyl group, alkenyl group or aryl group, or a 7C-22C alkylaryl group or arylalkyl group; R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>is a 2C-4C alkylene group; x is an integer of 1-30; and when x is ≥2, a plurality of R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>may be the same or different each other]; and a dihydroxy compound expressed by a general equation (2) [in the general equation (2), R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">4</SP>may be the same or different each other, and are each 1C-8C linear or branched chain-containing alkyl group or 2C-8C linear or branched chain-containing alkenyl group; R<SP POS="POST">5</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">6</SP>may be the same or different each other, and are each a 2C-4C alkylene group; y and z are each independently an integer of 0-14; and when y is ≥2, a plurality of R<SP POS="POST">5</SP>may be the same or different each other; and when z is ≥2, a plurality of R<SP POS="POST">6</SP>may be the same or different each other]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
