<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insert a wire electrode by vertically moving the wire electrode minutely without feeding any jet. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic wire threading device 1 includes a vertical drive device 30 between a feed roller 10 and a lower hole 4. The vertical drive device 30 feeds compressed air upward from a second compressed air feeding path 34 to push up a second wire guide 32. The second wire guide 32 floats in the state of holding a wire electrode 2 to move the wire electrode 2 upward by a prescribed distance. The vertical drive device 30 feeds compressed air downward from a first compressed air feeding path 33 to move the wire electrode 2 downward. A compressed air feeding device 35 alternately feeds compressed air to the first compressed air feeding path 33 and the second compressed air feeding path 34 to vertically move the wire electrode 2 minutely. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
