The present invention relates to the formulation of one orally-administrated solid-dosage form containing a therapeutic quantity of atorvastatin or a pharmaceutically-accepted salt thereof as active component. Said composition is characterised in that it contains an efficient quantity of Attapulgite used as stabilizer for impeding the hydrolysis and/or the isomerization and/or the elimination and /or the oxidation and/or the recrystalization of the active component. A preparation method based on the direct compression process is also presented herein.
