FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: described is a method of transferring a stream of a suspension containing a polymer through a transfer line from a first polymerisation reactor to a second polymerisation reactor, wherein before feeding from the transfer line to the second polymerisation reactor, the stream of suspension is divided into two streams, the first of which is returned to the first reactor while the second stream passes into the second reactor, wherein the length of the transfer line between the first reactor and the point of dividing the stream is greater than the length of the transfer line between the second reactor and the point of dividing the stream.
