FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to metal working machine tools. Proposed spindle device comprises housing, drive shaft with system for locking it required angular operating position and automatic tool replacement means. Aforesaid system is arranged between shaft bearings, nearby front bearings, and made up of friction and thrust discs and friction disc locking means. Thrust disc is rigidly fixed on housing while friction disc is arranged between thrust disc and its locking means and rigidly fixed on said shaft. Friction disc locking means is arranged on spindle housing to reciprocate thereon. ^ EFFECT: longer life, higher reliability. ^ 3 dwg |
