FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to cardiology. Diameter of radial and ulnar arteries is determined by data of ultrasonic examination. Allen's test is performed. If artery with diameter not less than 1.6 mm is determined, as well as with positive Allen's test operative access for performing procedure is selected. If radial artery with diameter more than 1.6 mm and larger than ulnar artery is detected, as well as with positive direct Allen's test radial access is selected. If ulnar artery with diameter more than 1.6 mm and larger than radial artery is determined, and with positive reverse Allen's test, ulnar access is selected. If diameter of radial artery is the same as diameter of ulnar artery and Allen's test is positive, artery with better pulsation is selected for access. In case if it is not possible to perform radial or ulnar access, hip access is used. ^ EFFECT: method makes it possible to select optimal arterial access for performing X-ray endovascular intervention on coronary arteries, as well as to reduce number of complications from arterial access. ^ 3 ex, 4 tbl, 5 dwg |
